Well, my name is Kiara and I am an 18 year old college student. I will be graduating in 2011 (WOOT!) and plan on attending medical school to become a pediatric psychiatrist. I have been overweight since as long as I can remember. I started gaining weight when I was in elementary school. I changed babysitters, and the babysitter would feed my sister and I plate after plate of exotic philipino foods. The pounds just started creeping on and never stopped. While my sister started running track in middle school and managed to lose all of her baby fat, I stayed chubby. I did martial arts and played soccer all through high school, but the weight never did fall off. I stayed overweight and am struggling to this day. SO, that's why I'm here. I can't stand to feel this way any longer, and no matter how long it takes, I will be healthy.
