Not really doing much in the food logging area. I've decided to use Spark People and I really like it better for logging activities and food. I ate 1647 cals today and also burned 2643 cals bike riding. So I didn't do too badly!

Bill is having a hard time adjusting to my measuring and weighing food. He got a little obnoxious with it tonight. LOL He won't be so ornery once he sees me in smaller clothes! Bwa ha ha! I'll have the last laugh!

Had a great workout today on the bike. Even made hubby get off the bike and climb a super steep hill at the Bluffs. While I made it up in fairly fast and no stopping, he had to stop a few times to catch his breath. I had a hard time coming down however. It was Bill who was waiting at the bottom! LOL I never could do down very well!

Time to watch "Fast" with the boys! Have a great weekend FS land!

Okay, happy, happy day! First off, I measured myself and found myself NOT wanting! According to the USN body fat calculator by bizcalcs these are my new stats:

Body Fat 47 %
Fat Mass 108 lbs
Lean Mass 122 lbs

To make things even better, I was on the treadmill using the stubborn fat protocol (HIIT, then fat burning cardio) and I jogged/ran three miles nonstop (except to drink some water from my water bottle three times only a coupla secs each time). So, yeah! I am verrrry happy!

Funny, funny thing last night. I was weighing 4oz of ground beef on the food scale and Billiam got really upset with me! LOL He was upset because I was using the scale for which he bought it. "But it was MEAT! You shouldn't HAVE to weigh or measure meat. One needs one's protein, dammit!" I had to explain to him how measuring EVERYTHING including MEAT was important in counting the calories and keeping track. I think he's still a little dubious but he'll come round eventually.

My blessings that I'm grateful for are:

Being of sound mind and body.
The ability to share my life's lesson's with my children. (How they choose to use those little nuggets of information is up to them)
A gym membership that's cheap but is quality for the price (where can you find that any more?)
My super comfortable bed!

What a boring day. Sort of. Had a job interview. Don't know how it's going to end up. Be positive...

Food scale is awesome! I'm not really watching how much I eat. I should eat less, but the food I am eating is wholesome. The protein powder is just to help me up my protein. I don't think I get near enough. I will work on that later.

Looking back on February, I noticed that I was way out there some days, others right on track. I'm not doing my damnedest to lose weight. I know I ought to. I need to work out more. I go strong for a few days, then I stop. Then it's back in the saddle again. Then it's fall the horse time. I'm thinking I need to set a schedule and just stick to it.

Right now, I'm studying my options as far as calories go. According to Mayo clinic I shouldn't be eating less than 1880 cals a day to lose weight. ????? Seems a bit high. I am really studying how much I can get by and work my diet around that. I'm thinking more meat and veggies than anything. Veggies I can eat tons of because I really like 'em. Meat might be a different story. I love meat, but sometimes... I think it really is all in the prep. I know for a fact I need to drink more water. I haven't been drinking all that much lately. Just don't seem that thirsty!

The rest of this week, I'll be working on an eating and exercising schedules and do my best to keep to them! We'll see. Experimentation is the key! Find what works and stick with it! =)
