They say the last few lb is the hardest to lose! Wow at being that close, how exciting for you. Are you on Atkins? If so, then the things you discuss are fine?

Funnily enough I find the Atkins bars a bit sweet for me .. I felt sick after eating the M&M replicas .. but I do have "brain craves" and would devour a packet of chips or some "fries" if I could without wrecking my progress heheh

I posted the same question a few days ago. I too have found myself not hungry like I used to be. I eat my breakfast and find I am not really hungry at lunch time. I have been drinking an atkins shake just to have something in me and to keep energy going. I know I go under my calories suggested but I just can't force myself to eat (good grief, what a problem to have!). It's such a different feeling when I was eating mostly carbs. I would eat pasta and bread and be hungry shortly after, which led to more eating. vicious cycle! this feels so much better!

TOTALLY get you re the whole feeling better thing. I have heaps of energy too, so I am sort of coming to the view that I should just enjoy this while it lasts. What DID worry me was the whole "if you don't eat enough your body will store fat" thing people say when you start a diet .. which is it, eat only when hungry or eat to stop fat being stored???

Guess as long as we feel OK, and the weight is dropping - it's all good!

Oh to have my problem, I am not hungry!?
G'day everyone, I need some advice (even if the advice is to just chill out and enjoy lol)

I am on Atkins induction, week 3 (day 1 of .. ) and I have completely lost my appetite. I am (usually) ALWAYS hungry and even if I'm not, I could eat Wink

So this is quite an odd thing for me. I feel completely healthy, I am just not hungry.

Yesterday, I had a protein laden brekkie and didn't feel like eating again at all. I did eat dinner eventually, as I was mindful of not being stupid .. but then it goes against the old "don't eat if you aint hungry" thing ..

Today, I'm in the same situation.. high protein brekkie and no appetite since. Is this the protein at work, is this normal? Should I force myself to eat or should I just sit back and enjoy this as it may be a part of the ketosis switch and won't last~? Argh so many Q's ..

I just don't wanna cock it up, by doing the wrong thing lol

Appreciate the ideas and help (in advance!) from those who'd been here / done this!

Cheers,
JM
