Still doing well.
I decided to put away the money saved on alcohol and buy new trousers when I reach my next target - 58kg.

First target reached (under 60 kg by 22 Nov) and a week ahead of time. I am delighted and feeling very motivated at the moment.
My next target will be 58kg by Christmas, in fact by 21 Dec. That's a bit longer than the first two kilos but that first bit usually drops off nice and quickly then the going starts to get tougher.
I recorded a high of 61.7 on 9 November so it's been just a week to reach my first goal. It's also been a week without alcohol or bread or wheat products of any kind.
I can't say I don't miss them, especially the bread, but on the whole I've been feeling alert and energetic which is surely a bonus, especially as I had a period this week, too (the first since September 1st!)
It's all systems go right now and I'm feeling so good about myself again.

Still on the downward trend so I'm happy. However, without eating bread I feel I'm coming in a bit too low on calories at around 1100. I'm afraid this will fool my body into the proverbial starvation mode so I need to think about this over the weekend and decide how to continue.

Daily weigh-ins at the moment for motivation - going well :)
I have a weekly date with my daughter to eat pide (Turkish pizza) on Thursdays and I was trying to find a way to tell her I didn't want to do that today, or wondering if I had the willpower to go there and just eat salad! Problem solved - she told me she doesn't want to go there today if I don't mind 'cos she ate there yesterday with her friends! Win-win and full steam ahead - steamed veggies and poached egg on the menu for dinner and still no wheat products.
I am feeling super-alert and more and more beginning to think that the absence of wheat is having this effect.

Dropping weight daily - that's what I like and expect to see because these first two or three kilos really are excess and just went on in the past few weeks. I like to think they haven't had time to take hold!
