Hmmm... the less coffee I drink, the more bacon I can eat. This may be a good motivator to cut back on the creamer carbs...

I'm finding it's a lot easier to cut back carbs than it is to cut back calories. And I don't feel hungry :) As a result, my caloric intake is also very low. I highly recommend a low carb diet to those who have trouble counting calories. I also recommend taking a multi-vitamin daily if you're going to do a low cab diet.
If it weren't for my coffee addiction, my carb intake would be so unbelievably low. However, considering the RDI for carbs is 300g, I think averaging my intake to 50g a day is very adequate. Some research suggests that 150g a day is enough to lose weight, but without the ketosis. Now if Ana wants to be proud of a low carb count and ignore the calorie aspect, that would be fanfuckintastic.

My coffee takes up a lot of my carbs. I'm almost half way there and I am definitely not done with coffee yet :(

I'm very happy with myself today. My calories are under my RDI, not necessarily good, but my carbs are at 62g. Considering this was a cheat day my carb levels are fantastic! Plus, I'm not hungry. I had to force feed myself that last chicken breast, and am actually feeling a little nauseous for it. But I know I had to eat it. Prior to that last snack I was at about 840 calories for the day, far too low. I'm certain I'm entering another starvation phase, and I need to try to end it before it gets a hold of me. If it was just starvation I'd lean toward letting it run its course. Eventually my brain freaks out and those carb cravings become unbearable. I binge on carbs and sweets, my body can't handle it so it purges... eventually I just binge without getting sick and pack on the ten pounds I lose with an added five pounds for the big F-you as my body cackles with glee at my distress.
Yerp. Any starvation phase needs to be nipped immediately.

Yesterday was an ok day, I guess. I was way over my limit in carbs, but if I hadn't eaten all those cookies I would have been spot on. So I'm doing it right thus far, sorta; I just need to get my will-power under control. And step one is adding more protein.
Today I had a McWrap thingy, which put me at my preferred carb limit. It was appointment day today, which means cheat day for me. Considering it was only one wrap, I did pretty good. I haven't eaten nearly enough, however, so I'm heating up the oven to pop in more chicken. If I insist on snacking before it's ready, I have creamy yogurt and sugar-free jello as options. Not as good as will-power, but better than cookies.
My doctor also switched out one of my meds today. One possible side-effect of this one is appetite suppression or even weight loss. Just watch, although I always get the weight
gain
side effect I won't get the weight
loss
side effect. fml :p
I'm also on minocycline for the next three months for my ocular rosacea. This means adding yogurt to my diet everyday for the next three months to keep my flora up. Not sure if I should add that to my carb count or just leave it out. I mean, it's a necessity not a choice. Do I wanna cut out something else while I take the yogurt? Or just not count it? Decisions........
