Looking for buddies to help and support :)
Good luck Sunshine. I wish you nothing but the best here. Feel free to send me a buddy request if you'd like to. Anyone else in need of buddies can send one to me if you'd like to. It's not much, but sometimes just the moral support from online buddies is enough to help you get you through things when times are tough.
Best of luck to all of you and have a happy New Year!

Greek Yogurt
I agree with the others advising you not to force yourself to eat something you can't stand. However, I feel it's worth mentioning that I had a hard time with Greek yogurt at first. Now I can't imagine not having it as part of my lunch. I purchase the Fage Total 0% by the tub and have half a serving (113g) with my turkey wrap for lunch. I add 1 teaspoon of honey to it and it I love the taste. I also use it in place of sour cream since that's what Greek yogurt tastes like to me. To me it has the same taste and creamy texture of sour cream, but none of the fat. Before I add the honey to my half serving, I take a small amount of it out of the bowl and smear it on the tortilla I use to make my turkey wrap. I like the ideas of others here to add fruit or brown sugar. I might also suggest that you try adding a little granola to it to see if you like that. There are many variations of granola mixtures you can purchase at a grocery store in a bag, box, or from a bulk bin and some have brown sugar included in them. If you go with this option you get a little sweetness to offset the sour taste of plain Greek yogurt and if you like a crunch, then it also adds a nice texture to the yogurt. I hope you find something you like.

Alcohol & Weight Gain - Fact or Myth?
Alcohol is a diuretic and causes an increase in urination. This, in turn, leads to dehydration if it occurs long enough. It does this by inhibiting a hormone called antidiuretic hormone (ADH - AKA vasopressin).
There are several resources discussing the role of AHD and the effects alcohol has on it. Here are two of them:
Third paragraph down on this page:

A basic flow chart showing the role of ADH:

I hope this helps.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I am also one of those folks who weighs myself every day. It helps me know I'm on track and headed in the right direction with things. Also, if you're one of those people like me who tracks calories burned, then it's really important to keep track of your weight on a regular basis because even just losing a pound or two makes a big difference in terms of how many calories are burned resting, sleeping and exercising. Even if you're not sharing your weight loss publicly, it's still a good idea to track your weight regularly so you know how many calories you're burning compared to how many you're consuming.

Weigh-in Error Message - Anyone else?
I have been having this issue, too. I've been getting this message every week since the beginning of November and my ticker hasn't been updating since then, either.
