I weighed in on April 2, 2014 when I went to my doctor for a checkup. I had not been weighed in over 12 days or so because the scales I use to use at a local gas station were taken away. Well I did not know how I was going to get weighed, since most all scales stop at 350 lbs. Even my doctor had scales that only went to 350 lbs. and they were the scales we all have been weighed on at the doctor's office, you know the type with the three sliding weights and it had to balance on the little red center line. Well my doctor had moved to another office and he had purchased a more up to date scale that would weigh 500 lbs. or so. I was so happy but scared at the same time to get weighed! I just got on the scales and BOOM, there it was showing the weight of 390 lbs. I was so happy and I felt such relief to see the weight coming down! I owe all my thanks to GOD almighty! I'm coming down baby!

I have found out that really my RDI should be around 2800 to 2900 calories each day. I have cut back to that amount and it is much more difficult to decide on what you should eat. I just think that when I eat something then I focus on how much that is going to allow me to have later throughout the day. When I want something that is not suitable for my diet I do my best to think of what I am doing this for. I am proud of myself with all the little desert snacks that are available to me I am able to say no to those. I did have a three fig newtons yesterday, but I didn't feel well and I needed some food but something that was very light and easy on the stomach. Well I am close to getting out of the 400 hundreds and down to the three hundreds and that does have me excited. I am just taking this one day at a time!

I have been staying under my RDI, but once I did go over just a day or two ago. I average about 2800 calories daily, with an RDI of 3500 calories a day. When I first began the first week I had dropped from 420 to 405 lbs. & I was very happy ,but the next week I had weighed in at 407 lbs. & that was very discouraging yet I stuck to my diet/RDI. I am now at 406 lbs. into my 36th day of dieting & I really thought I woulg be out of the four hundred range by now. My lowest weigh was 404 lbs. last week & now its up two pounds. I just can't figure out why I am losing weight so slowly. I gave up my worst habit which was soda & I am not eating junk foods, so I guess I just really thought the weight would really come off faster for at least the first 50 to 100 lbs. I am going to stick to this % not give up, but I am being honest, I really wished I was losing more fat just at least 30 lbs. in the first month. Instead I have lost only 15 lbs . I do need to exercise more, but I just never feel inspired enough or feel good enough to do a daily routine. I wish I had someone to talk with about my diet & ask them if I am doing OK with my diet!!!
