Birthday Weekend! My birthday is Monday. So - 3 days off the diet. I won't weigh in again until I get back down to 134.2; hopefully next week,but I'm going to have a few days where I just don't think about food except for trying to decide what I want to eat. And only eating if I'm hungry, of course. I won't be stuffing my face.
Today - Yogurt! My favorite. I used to eat yogurt's a couple times a week. And little by little they got bigger with more candy and more syrup until it was a ridiculous amount of calories each time.
Today a friend got me a yogurt and it was probably 8 oz's - less than I used to eat, and with no candy or syrup, and twice as much as I wanted. I gave a bit to my dog and finished it, but more because she had bought it for me. I think 6 oz's is sufficient. Admittedly it was Nutella yogurt ; ) - but still - probably 1/3 the calories I used to eat. So, I'll take that as progress. And yogurt is my achille's heel, so if I can enjoy a small amount every once in awhile I won't feel so much like I'm dieting.
I may not have many calories to go but every pound takes so much time and work. I'll probably still be trying to lose weight in September.
I'm going to keep track of what I eat, but not necessarily write down all the calories. No reason to feel badly! I'll hit it again Tuesday.
134.2 lb Lost so far: 22.4 lb.    Still to go: 0.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
