Exact on the nose as the day before, but I'm okay with it. Ate LC as far as I know yesterday... I say that only because I got a McD's sugar free vanilla iced coffee, and I'm almost 100% sure it was not sugar free. It didn't have that semi-bitter aftertaste that the sugar alternative has, and seemed a bit too sweet. Frustrating. Rest of the day I did fine on eating and really upped my water consumption towards the end of the night.

Today is a new day. I'm on track no problem today, eating some lunch right now (burger/cheese/cauliflower/broc/light amount of alfredo/spices casserole) with water, had a 2 egg/shredded cheese and three brown and serve sausages cut up omelette with coffee/hwc this morning. All on goal so far. Now to figure out dinner...!

Also, something interesting I noticed - I originally was going to make this casserole with cream cheese/hwc alternative to make an "Alfredo" sauce. I noticed the cream cheese was 2 carbs per 2 tbsp. I took a look at the Alfredo - just a basic Prego "artisan 3 cheese" I believe - and it was only 2 carbs per 1/4 cup. So I was/am able to get more sauce for less carbs and it actually tastes like Alfredo... because it is. :-P I'd have to check calories for keto but I think it must be close, as HWC is high(er) calorie and then I would have had to add spices to make it taste like alfredo... so going with the actual alfredo for now! If I'm missing something here, please help me out!

We're closing in on the last weeks of a weight loss contest I'm in... I'm not going to take top place (about a 3% difference between me and the number one spot) but I am thrilled to have been in the top 5 almost the entire time (I think maybe only one week that I wasn't!). I think maybe this week I need to really reel in the calories as well as carbs to go for one last push on dropping the weight for this contest (and beyond of course :)). I find that I like more complex food (who doesn't?) when it comes to taste but I think I need to go with a boring egg or two, a boring chicken breast or sausage, etc for lunch. I tend to dress things up and add unnecessary calories/carbs. It's worth a shot I suppose, definitely won't hurt!
