I'm now only 2.4 lbs from my lowest weight after having DD, and only 5.4 lbs away from the lowest I got after having DD, and having so many gallbladder issues last January.

I thankfully only gained about 7 pounds when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I was SO overweight that I think that had a lot to contribute with the gain. When I had her, I was 267, far too large for my frame/height/health. I'm extremely lucky that they didn't have to do anything much different with her, my BP stayed normal the whole way through, etc. I dropped 45 pounds after having her. I got to 219 before I was able to get over the gallbladder issue. And gained 23 lbs back in her first year. Yikes! My fast food addiction was full blast this past year and it showed.

Since starting LCHF on January 1... I've been able to break my fast food addiction. And it feels great. Do I think about some of the foods sometimes? yep. Have I gotten the LC options at FF restaurants instead? YEP. :-) But I don't go there nearly (not even close) as much as I used to. It's just too tempting, even when I feel like my willpower is at an all time high. Plus, it was so expensive! When I was looking at my accounts in January, it was startling to see how much money was wasted on fast food.


I got my celebratory pedi/mani for hitting 15 lbs on Wednesday and it was wonderful. Very relaxing! I think I would like to try to do that more often than every 10 years or so. lol.

Next goal is 25 lbs lost. I need to think of a fun reward for this one!
224.4 lb Lost so far: 19.6 lb.    Still to go: 64.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
