karabeth's Journal, 19 May 2012

I had two slices of pizza and two beers for dinner last night. I need to stop making myself feel guilty when I do decide to eat poorly. I knew all week that was the plan and I planned for it the rest of the day, but I went to bed upset at myself for eating something that I love! I ate very well the rest of the week and am making solid progress. I was my lightest weight for the week this morning and that was pretty awesome, but I have a feeling it was a fluke haha.

On the bright side, I worked 8 hours of overtime this week (hence, the stress) and while I would usually reward myself with food, I am not. I have decided to reward myself with a pedicure instead! Since I already had a massage scheduled for today (that is already paid for - not made of money here!!) I just decided to make it a full day of pampering :)

Off to shower and go to the farmer's market as my first stop on the day of happy!

Nothing wrong with having pizza and beer if you plan for it. In order to keep weigh off we need to be able to live life. It's learning portion control and moderation. Thin people eat what they want, they just stop when they have had enough. Good for you!
