MrsTofu's Journal, 20 April 2012

Not a big loss this time, but considering that I let loose over the weekend and really had to get back on track, I am happy to see a loss, no matter how small. Hopefully I am on track and can work towards bigger losses next week.

Just noticed that I weighed 172lbs at the beginning of the year and now I weigh 159.6lbs today. So it's not the most incredible performance, but seeing progress is encouraging. I wonder how much more weight I can lose this year. Maybe I can actually get to my goal weight by my birthday this year. To do so I need to lose 30lbs in about 6 months- totally doable. Let's see if I can stick to the plan this week- or as much of this week as possible, and maybe I'll be able to meet another mini goal or two by next week. Feeling optimistic even though I had a big slip up this morning. Now off to be productive. :)
159.6 lb Lost so far: 9.9 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are doing great. It does not really matter if you lose fast enough. What matters is that the weight goes in the right direction. You are slimmer than you were, and you are more in control of your eating habits. You will get where you want to be, just don't give up. I also think, that you came up with a great idea of resetting the history, and going for sprints. I did the same and it worked for me. Your example is very encouraging.
