Happy to say I've seen 184 on the scale for two days in row. Yay! Out of my 188-189 slump? I hope so. Interestingly, i've been drinking unsweetened cranberry juice in water. A Fat Flush thing and reading the new Fat Flush Plan. She is soooo brilliant. Anyway, happy to report some change in the right direction.

Good for you. I weighed in this morning at around 182, so we are close. So do you make your own cranberry juice? I always see it with sugar.

Glad to hear its working, but how does cranberry juice fit a low-carb diet plan? Even a small amount is pretty high on the carb scale, particularly when we dont get many per day. My daily goal is 20g net carbs.

Mashing up whole cranberries? They're bitter and sharp without sugar or honey. Do you pinch your nose and drink it like a shot?

You can make your own by boiling cranberries for awhile then blending them, however, Walmart has unsweetened cranberry juice, so I buy that and then just splash it in my ice water a few times a day. If its too tart you can add a bit of stevia or monkfruit sweetener. She is also advocating the 'Yacon' sweetener. All healthy ones.

3.5 grams carb for one oz. but the beneficial affects are astronomical. very high Vit C and some kind of magical qualities that cleanse the liver

I've sworn off forever processed foods and sweeteners, so I'll just try boiling fresh cranberries. If only a small amount is dropped into a glass of water, it's probably not much different than squeezing over a wedge of lemon, tartness-wise. I'd imagine you could even freeze individual portions in an ice cube tray. I'm definitely going to give this idea a go!

yes. It's very much like a wedge of lemon. Good plan Nanette. I'll be curious to see if it helps anyone else.

Oh, okay. So this is just a dab of flavor, and not like drinking straight squeezed cranberries. That's doable - count me in!
