Yeah...... Great news. You entry prompted me to re-try my rings (haven't fitted for about 20 years). I am not there yet, I can get my wedding ring over my knuckle - but no further. My engagement ring, which was always loose, just about fits. I am wondering about having them stretched a little - not sure yet. I always did a lot of typing, and wonder whether is is why they still do not fit - although - even though I am at goal weight, I was always at least a stone lighter. I may give it a little time, before I finally decide what to do. I am sure your hubbie is delighted too :-)

Awesome! I have had a similar problem - but my rings never come off! I just recently was able to get my right hand ring off, but wedding ring is still not going anywhere. I was able to get it off a few years ago when I had lost some weight. At that time I had it repaired and soldered together. I have recently bent it and lost one of my stones, so I'm counting the lbs until I can get it off and repaired again! :)

Thanks guys. Now that they are on, I'm not sure they will be coming off anytime soon. I could probably force them off, but it would not be easy. Skinny, I think our hands change as we get older. I doubt I will get back down to the size ring I wore when I first got married. I think I've permanently damaged my hands with lots of heavy manual labor in the yard. My current rings are 1.5 sizes larger than the original rings and it still took a loss of nearly 50 pounds to get them on! I'm so happy though; I can't stop staring at them - you'd think I was newly engaged or something :).
