posterchild66's Journal, 27 February 2012

Back to 237.8, but I feel ok with it. I think it is the lowest I have started a week.

I need to look up my weights for the past few months, but I have been stagnant at about the same weight for a month. I looked yesterday, and in the past month I have only lost 2 lbs. Far from the 2 a week I am used to losing. I cant say I have been doing great on my diet, but unless my cheat days are having longer term effects, I just dont know. I am not drinking more beer or anything either.

I am out of my boot, and my walking and activity over the past few weeks has been increasing, and I can feel my muscle mass in my legs building back up. Especially my left calf, but also my upper legs and butt. That is good. Perhaps I need to assume that is the reason for my plateau. My limp is still very evident, but I can tell it too is also going away.

I have a lot of servers to build this week. We have an inspection next week to prepare for. Lots of last minute stuff, that is making me uncomfortable, but what can you do.

Wife leaves in about a week. It will be a good time to spend a few weeks with my son, and maybe bond a little. Of course he is a teenager and probably wants nothing to do with that!

Today, I am grateful, for reals!

JP, try to break down everything you eat. Just as me, you know what you're doing, and how to do it. You got the system down, we both know this. Sometimes it helps to simply take a step back and see what's going on. Do you REALLY eat good? Do you drink all the water you need? Are there too many days where there is a good excuse? Is there a lot of salt in your diet these days? I'm not saying that these ARE the reasons, just little things to look for. I see in your diet calender that you don't really register exercise. Do you actually eat ENOUGH for what you burn? Often, this is the issue. You should be around 3500 - 7000 calorie deficit in a week, including your indulgence day.

Thanks King, Yes I rarely register exercise, as I have not been, and yes, I am sure my food calendar has been lacking lately. Cheers, and hopefully we can both get back on track. I was just digesting your journal as I build a server...

Just keep going with your plan...making sure you exercise (wuss)...I was stuck at 235 for three weeks...235.9 - 235.2 - 235.0...then I punched through this week, and I couldn't tell you why...I have the same routine, have been eating pretty much the same but it happened??? Maybe our bodies think we are starving them and are holding on to everything they can...who knows...but you will push through it...Later.
