Good Monday Morning, my friends!

I survived the weekend, and although I DID end up having chocolate, I also ended up staying within my RDI. Nice! I like the fact that it IS possible to do both - and at the same time! :)

The results on the scale are astonishing, and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a new, nice drop this morning. Since I dropped about half a ton from Saturday to Sunday, I didn't expect much of a drop today, but still, I'm 400 grams lower than yesterday, bringing me to 77.2 kgs. I'm 200 grams from my goal weight again. Nice!

I really feel that I am back in my groove!

I didn't exercise at all this weekend. I purposefully skipped it, and although I felt bad to not do anything, I do see results on the scale. That is so weird, isn't it? Who knew that it could be difficult to NOT exercise?

This morning I did my 15 mins of HIIT on the bike, and I will leave it at that. This, I will repeat on Wednesday and Friday, and that will be my exercise this week - and of course the random little things like standing up at work instead of sitting down, the little walks to and from work, shopping, etc. It all counts.

I always have set my activity level to sedentary here on FatSecret, however I don't think it's at all accurate any longer - not even with I do not exercise. I do a bunch of little things throughout the day, that keeps me moving just a little bit. I think it all qualifies for me to be in the "low active" category - at least. However, it doesn't really matter anyways, as I set my RDI manually. I'm still debating whether I should lower it to 1800 again, just to make sure to reach new goals. I don't think it'll really be a problem, but I think I'll feel better about Indulgence Day next Saturday knowing that I have "saved up" for it already. Now that I think of it, I will lower it to 1800, save up 500 through the week and feel better about next Saturday. :)

Today, I am thankful for:
- Another lower weigh-in - one more lb off, and it's a new low!
- Surviving a tough weekend without exceeding RDI.
- A great day at work today! Yes it will be!
- Another good night's sleep. It's been many in a row now. Nice!

Make sure to have fun today, friends! Life is good!

Wow Kingkeld, Welcome back! I have been having chocolate and ice cream, and staying within my RDI too. Funny I think of you when eating my 100 cal ice creams. Odd that we see the inverse of what we expect with exercise. I think we may be an odd bunch. Thank goodness there arent too many muscleheads on here. They might call us weak. I intend to get out and start some walking soon, interested to see how that pans out.

I'm glad to inspire when it comes to ice cream, JP. Ice cream IS a man's best friend. :) That, and chocolate. Mmmmmmmm... cho-co-laaaaate... (Imagine Homer Simpson as you read this, please...)

lovely. It's a lovely pleasant surprise when you 'indulge' but then realize that you still kinda played within the rules?

Fab news... You are certainly in the groove again :-). Good luck on your HIIT ... I hope you begin to enjoy it :-)

Weddingdiet2012 - I don't feel that I have gone outside the rules at all. Stay within RDI is my goal. What I use it for is my own thing. However, the trouble with chocolate is that I have a hard time saying no or stop. :/ When I do have it, I tend to have more than I planned, and I'll have to re-arrange around it. It's a lot easier to just not have any. Actually, I often find it easier to not have any at all, compared to just have a little.

Keld - last night I had such strong cravings for Peanut M&M's! I know their crap.. but I sure do love them! And I thought of you. I thought about your amazing success with your indulgence day! And whew - I was green w/ envy!!! Be it hormones, be it years of yo-yo dieting, ... I don't know, but the difference is I think if I indulged... you would find me junkied out in an alley somewhere covered in multicolored choc from the M&M's and crying from the tummy ache I had! LOL! No can do!! But I live vicariously thru you! ;) So I am so happy you had a treat and stayed w/ in your RDI!!! Much Love.

jsfantome - that just brought the SCARIEST mental picture out! LOL! M&M Overdose! Hey, there are nuts in there, and they're okay, right? :) For me, Indulgence Day has really pushed me forward, but it DOES mess with your head. It does make some things tricky, for me it's especially the next day cravings that makes it tough. I do like that I have a go-nuts-day though. Keeps me sane.

Sazy - you're right. The journey NEVER stops, but I do think that it gets easier in the way that it gets less restricted once we're not looking for a loss, but for an even-out. Of course it's a balance that needs quite some attention, but I do think that it is something we can learn to do so skillfully that we stop thinking about it. I'm already so far down this road that I have a good idea of what's good and what's bad. I just don't always have the will power to make the right decision. It's coming, though. It's coming. Oh, and speaking of doing good - after dinner (and jell-o dessert) tonight I STILL have 600 calories left. I could go have a full choc bar if I wanted. I don't think I will, though. Then again, let's not promise anything I can't keep. ;)

WOW! Great progress! And love the way you fit chocolate into your day without going over RDI. Awesome! I'm still working staying consistently on that balance. You are pretty much at your goal! You have done so GREAT!!!
