Wow, what a plateu! And going into indulgence day, lol. 238.6 all week long. Maybe this is my natural weight?

Anyway, I looked at the scale this Am and though, ooh, I dropped .2. But alas I was wrong. I am not worried. Stress filled week, and I just feel all anxious. Like I need a pill, or a drink. Hmmm

Today we are going to the market to get tomorrow's chickens, and some other odds and ends. Rather than go out for unhealthy foods, I am making my own! I am making some pork ribs, mashed potatoes, and other stuff that should easily run my calories up. Not sure what is for lunch.

Stressed about my Daughter. She took her GED pretests and failed miserably. Then I had her do some online tests the military provides for us, for which I can see the grades. Either she does not try at all, or she has serious learning problems, or... she is just plain dumb. I know, that sounds terrible to say about your daughter. She never was a good student, and maybe this is our fault as parents. Or my fault for bringing her out here and away from public schools. I cant say I like it. It could be her medicines for her seizures too. In any event, I do not look forward to helping her study, which I am on the hook for today. I may try to get out of that as gracefully as I can. It will probably save us a bunch of aggrivation. I dont think she is ready for this test next week at all.

I have a four day weekend with no plans really. I do go to the doctor on Sunday and hopefully begin physio right after that. My foot is having some odd pains, such as those when it is healing maybe. Also from more usage.

Well, let me be grateful for something.
I did not gain weight all week.
My scale still works

JP, it's so scary when the scale doesn't budge, or the weight even climbs. You know what I'm going through these days. You sound like you know what you're doing though, and I think it's a good thing that you do your Indulgence Day no matter what the scale says. You'll see results soon - I know it. So will I. :) I'm sure Daughter is NOT dumb - though I gotta say your suggestion made me giggle... :)

Thanks King. I did do indulgence day, I had a few chocolatey treats like muffins and croissants. I am having trouble eating that much. I am stuffed now and only at 2K calories. Maybe I will go have ice cream treat later with the wifey. I just cant eat as much as I used to, and that is a good thing.

I've had a lazy week and poor eating to go with it...my sister & her family (husband and two sons) are coming to visit this weekend, so diet may get abused a little on Saturday night...that's a lot of stumbling this week...as for your daughter, could it be that she stresses out and freezes up during exams? Are you puting extra stress on her to get good grades? Does she have trouble finishing all the questions on time? Does she think she is stupid? (confidence can be a huge factor) There are tricks, like do all the questions you find easy first then go back and catch all the tougher questions... Anyway, I'm kinda glad you are hitting a plateau since I am having a bad food week & probably only going to workout three times this week... Good Luck with all of it buddy!! Later.

Thanks Madjak. I dont put much pressure on her, but I am pretty intimidating to them. I reckon I have a bit of a temper. Her and I did some tests tonight and she got a 550 out of 800, which is passing and good. I went over some of my massive test taking skills, from lots of certification exams. I think she rushes, and has a hard time understand stuff she reads. One of the scenarios was about murder, and she got them all right. Then the romance or history stuff she tanks on, so it depends on if she is interested, lol. Good luck with your family this weekend. I am sipping corona's now, so I may just hit my "cheat day" max soon! lol.
