Up .8 to 239! Whaaat! I reckon it was poor food choices yesterday.

I ate a hot dog at dinner/school time. I had planned on just snacking on protein bars and almonds, but it did not work out. Honestly I was not that hungry, but I had it. My coworkers even ate much later, so there was no need. Anyway, maybe it contributed to a gain. That and some stir fry pork at lunch that was also greasier than I prefer to eat these days. Who knows, after a few days of losses I think the rebound was a bit inevitable. Crappy lunch + processed salty dinner = bad weight day. And the damn thing about is the food was disgusting...did not taste good. Next time I will eat cake. Ended the day at almost 2000 cals. Wayyyy off.

Yesterday was a good day other than food, hmm. My biology quiz went well, I studied hard, but the questions were easy. Stuff like lactic acid and aerobic need oxygen. I pushed through! Our class went well also, and then we went over genetics labs. I did well on those too, and it was good to go over it in a group.

I have been watching the US version of Shameless. Wow, what a show. Season 2 is awesome! The depravity and evil that is played in those characters is incredible.

So today I will set a goal to eat better food. Not processed or crappy stuff. There really is no excuse now, I have ordered and stocked my office with all kinds of healthy options, perhaps too much! I have almonds, protein bars, peanut butter... lots of stuff. Maybe it is too accessible. Let me put it away off my desk and into a cabinet or drawer... hehe.

Oh, and Happy Valentines Day!

So, today I am grateful for...

I'm glad I pushed myself to workout tonight...I'm sitting here all sweaty thinking "...haha, I've got him now..." then I realized that your gain is probably water weight from the salty food you aren't used to...but I have to head out of town for work, stuck in camp for a couple of days eating what ever is on the menu...this could be challenging!! Good Luck buddy! Later.

I know that I can not have healthy foods in my office. I will end up munching all day. That's what happened when I bought super hot peanuts, thinking they would keep me from eating them all. Sadly, I love chili. :) I keep a fruit or two for the day, and that's it. Otherwise it'll all be gone. Better to not tempt myself. If it's not there, I won't eat it.

Thanks Y'all. It is just so hard to find the right foodstuffs here, when they are available we horde them, or when I mail order I get too much. I am doing better today now that its all out of sight. I have an orange I am looking at on my desk, but thats OK. :-) Mmm, super hot peanuts. Its about time to place an order at hot sauce world dot com!

Speaking of hot stuff...I had a recent experience (yes, I mean EXPERIENCE) with GHOST PEPPERS...HOLY CRAP!! On bite two I had tears and my nose was running (really attractive, snot & tears!!)...so I stopped at one wing! Good for the diet, but man it was rediculously hot! The bucket came with 12 wings, and if you can eat them all yourself they are free...two people at the table had two, the guy that bought them had four the rest only tried the one...Mind you, my tolerance for hot food has started to fade...I still like warm, but not so much on the hot anylonger?? Frank's Red Hot is the temp I like, much hotter and it isn't enjoyable. Later.

Oh my goodness.. I will never understand why people eat HOT HOT spicy food.. it just looks miserable!!! I am very much Norwegian when it comes to that - I'm not a spicy food person at ALL. Yikes.. and isn't that the worst when you look back on your calorie intake and think, "Man, I didn't even enjoy that food very much!!!" Live and learn...
