240.0 which means one more day until 230's! I am stoked.

I was hoping to see 230's today, but I am OK I did not. It will motivate me, one more day of doing this hardcore this week! Maybe my lunch will not be as big as usual. You see, generally Thursday is like a virtual cheat day, bigger lunch (Mongolian BBQ), and often my kids will want some type of junk food for dinner (I usually get Subway or eat leftovers). Not today!

Yesterday was a good day. I stood my ground and "Just said no" when my coworkers begged me to go out to lunch (Because they are lazy and did not want to run errands alone). I can do fine going out, it is just I would rather not. They tend to order crap food, and many appetizers. Its really hard to resist appetizers when they are on a plate in front of you. I had a big salad for lunch, a few well placed snacks, and a lean cuisine for dinner before class.

Yesterday though, One coworker said he noticed I have lost weight. It was sort of on topic though and was not an "out of the blue" complement. I have taken an approach where I am not going around broadcasting my journey and weight loss lately, and I am sort of surprised I do not hear that more often. That being said, I look in a mirror and dont really notice much. Maybe I need to do a before and "mid-journey" shot here soon. I definitely notice my belly is flatter, and my man-boobs are much smaller. All good things, hehe! Maybe that will be happening more when I get into a wardrobe change soon. But honestly, I am doing this for me, and if I feel better thats all that matters right? ^^

My foot is doing much better. I am dying to ditch the boots and get into "2 shoes". They have a whole lingo for recovery over at achillesblog dot com. I notice a huge disparity in recovery times for people, and i am in the "quick/aggressive" group for sure. So I will just have to be patient. Perhaps 1.5 more weeks, perhaps 3.5 more weeks, who knows. I do know the boot is very uncomfortable now. I pretty much just use it when I leave the house, or if I am doing lots of chores and movement at home.

In that regard I also cannot wait to do physical therapy, and begin walking again, even if its slow and for 20 minutes. Since I am wanting to do that, hopefully that will fit in to my physio routine.

Well, I have work to do, and homework to do, and stuff, besides I am rambling.

240.0 lb Lost so far: 29.0 lb.    Still to go: 55.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

you're doing really great, JP! go on that way. and you will see: as soon as you can move normal (with two shoes) you're weight will drop just a bit more...or you won't gain as much as you had in the last few weeks when you "cheat". wish you all the luck that you will definitively be in the 230's club tomorrow! i can't wait to see a "7" in front :)
