Q) What happens when you have a birthday pizza and attend a lavish wedding in the same week?

A) You gain weight!

Feeling pretty upset this morning, with my first week on week gain since starting this diet, despite still managing an average daily calorie deficit of more than 400 cals over the week. Guess it's just a bit too close to the Day of Diet Disaster... :(
176.5 lb Lost so far: 33.5 lb.    Still to go: 36.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I know its disheartening, because its so hard trying to get rid of the tricky blighters - and they just pop back for no real reason! Don't be upset though - its just one pound - you have lost 33!! Some people with this type of weekend(ie me!) would have put on 7!! Be super virtuosus this week, and you will lose that irritating pound and possibly a few more to go with it! Good luck ;-)

You have only gained weight one time? That is fantastic that you have stuck with it so well. I'm sure the extra pound will drop right off once you get back to your regular diet, so don't fret! At least you don't have Thanksgiving to deal with! A holiday with the sole purpose of eating all you can! And being thankful for it too, of couse. I'm just thankful I only gained .5 of a pound.

Thank you both! I've been back on track since Sunday - even took my little boy swimming this afternoon, which entailed my jogging up and down the pool with him in my arms for 15 mins!! Feeling a lot better this afternoon - I might check in again tomorrow if I've made any progress reversing this annoying gain! :)
