Gaining weight is so easy. I wonder how long it would take me to get to 600 lbs so I could be on that show. Everything has gone to shit since 2013.

I'm having a lot of trouble walking my dog down the street now. My knees hurt. I get winded easily. I just turned 60 and I am not sure if I can undo this damage.

Maybe I should see my doc in early January to get a checkup and benchmark so I can compare stats later if I work on improving my diet and exercise this year. I want to be thin right now, but I don't yet feel motivated to do anything about it. I really want to get motivated. I miss how great I felt 60 pounds ago.

For Christmas we got ourselves an elliptical, to be delivered in 2 weeks. I am skeptical about whether it will be used. Mr Coco insists it's the better investment rather than going to the gym.

Sixty isn't too old. Just keep moving. Don't let your weight stop you moving. The knees will stop hurting if you increase your fitness even only marginally.

I'm 72. I'm still here. I haven't given up hope. Monday, is a fresh start to a new year. I know we can do it. My kitchen is all set up to go. I agree with Mr. Coco. Having your tools close to hand (or foot) means no excuses. Onward, my friend. It's never too late! Even 5 minutes, in the beginning, is progress. Happy and healthy new year!
