Another good loss yesterday in spite of the cheeseburger! Yesterday was a good day. Got a bit cocky on facebook and angered my wife and niece with my arrogant humor. Had to back up and realize what is important!

Went a bit over rdi yesterday, not quite a spike day or on schedule for one. Just had to break out of my recent routine since I was off the sofa and out and about. Its funny when I get out its so exciting its like I escaped from jail! It was nice to spend quality time with the wife too. Since I have been laid up my kids seem to hang around more. Whether that is to help me, or they just love me I dunno. However much I do love them, we need some time apart. We have this same scenario when we go on long vacations and are cooped up in a hotel room.

Still awaiting news on whether son made it into the private school we wish to enroll him in. This will improve quality of life immensely for us. He did not like home school at all. It also caused us lots of stress too. Sometimes it makes me question working out here. Sure the money is good, and we have gotten to see much of the world because of it. So I am hopeful and confinent that our situation will improve this year in that regard for my son and us. We have plans to help daughter also, by getting her ged, and started into college.

So today I am grateful for my new found optimism and ability to work through my problems. I attribute that to my weight loss journey rather than being negative and eating or drinking my problems away. Again I am grateful for my wife, kids, and Kitty. Grateful for my old bodies healing ability! Also grateful for my entertainment system!

/cheers, JP

That does sound like a great day! I'm glad you got out of jail! :) Facebook can be a dangerous place - sometimes humor just doesn't translate into written language. I have to watch what I do there - and here too. I have stepped over so many toes unintentially, that it's not even funny. :) Well, actually it is kinda funny. People will have to learn to deal with who I am. I think the ones who know me are aware that I don't intentionally step on anyone's toes. I hope it all works out with schooling for you son.
