So excited to hit the 30 pound milestone today - all within just 2 months! I realize that I am losing at a faster rate than the recommended 1-2 pounds a week, but I have a lot to lose, I am consuming plenty of calories, and my weight loss has been pure fat (no lean body mass), so I think I'm trucking along just fine. Plus, I'm sure it will slow down soon enough; in the meantime, I will enjoy the accelerated results :)

I was so excited after getting my results this morning that I jumped on the bed, woke hubby (who has the day off today) to share the news with him. He just peered at me through half closed eyelids and grunted. Sheesh! A little enthusiasm please! :)
241.0 lb Lost so far: 17.0 lb.    Still to go: 76.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I Think if you have a lot to loose, then more than 1-2 pounds a week is ok. As you get lower, weight wise, then a slow down is sensible. Congratulations on a milestone :-)
