I was just glancing through and saw your journal. Wow! You've done amzing thus far!! You should be very proud. Now...give yourself a pat on the back, be patient, be persistent, and the weight loss shall follow. And, there ARE reports out there that discuss too few calories may inhibit your weight loss efforts. If you're physically active, perhaps you can consider a caloric intake of 1200. Like you, I'm 1000 or less right now, and its s l o w. Its so good that you and smacking the weight gain before it spirals out of control. :)

You have lost 8 pounds since the beginning of January, those are pretty good results (especially because you have very little to lose). If you are doing two workouts a day, you need to make sure you are fueling those workouts with enough calories and take your measurements. You may be losing fat/inches and not seeing it on the scale yet. You could also be retaining water in your muscles (they get little tears from exercising). Just keep on going, you will be fine. Just keep going.

Thanks guys, I’ve upped my calories this week and things are getting a bit better (I also have more energy to get through my workouts). Thank you for sharing your advice and your encouragement. Keep on keepin on!
