this better be muscle weight since i started exercising regularly this week
258.2 lb Lost so far: 23.8 lb.    Still to go: 108.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

When you first start exercising, your muscles retain water to help them heal. It actually takes months of hard work for women to gain pounds of muscle. Google "why the scale lies" for some insight in to water weight gain. It's eye opening. Once your muscle gets used to the new exercise, the scale will go back down and then some.

thank you! that makes a lot of sense. besides that i have gotten used to drinking a lot of water and then for a few days i didn't so my body was probably hoarding it.
