Oh my Gosh, I am totally out of control with sugar. Sugar is a strong force and one I have never had to battle before. These cravings are so foreign to me, but I WILL win this battle because I WILL NOT gain all that weight back. My motto, "Nothing taste as good as thin feels"!

I find that when I lose some weight the sugar cravings come on stronger. When I was not trying to lose weight had general carb cravings...wanted my bread and pasta. Now sugar calls my name. I try not to see sugar as my enemy, not into adversarial posturing. Mainly because then I am my own enemy and I won't find balance that way. If I take time to talk to myself, the part of me wanting sugar, I can sometimes calm the urges. Eventually they pass and we can get back to other life matters.

have you tried fighting sugar cravings by eating more fats? It might help curb the cravings - avocado, egg ...... just a thought, it helps me; amazing progress! xo Tulip!

What Tulipgirl6 said...and try Mother's apple cider vinegar in cold water and ice as a drink. It is surprisingly effective at stifling the sugar addiction.

Tulipgirl6, I struggled at first and then played w/the ratio of cider to water and temperature. Now I really enjoy it. It's very refreshing.
