Banathallah's Journal, 21 January 2016

I think I have eating too few calories the past few days. I ate more calories yesterday and managed to lose more. I'm still nursing my 10 month old on demand so I've been forcing myself to eat, even though I'm never really hungry now. I haven't noticed a drop in my milk supply, so I guess it's fine.

218.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 73.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I would pump occasionally to keep an eye in your supply. when I was still breastfeeding I wasn't paying attention and because I had just moved and I wasn't eating enough .... lost my milk and couldn't get it back. he was 9 months and was able to eat solids and what not but i made for a stressful time

Eating enough calories, whether you're nursing or not, is critical. Not eating puts your body into starvation mode instead of calorie-burning mode!
