JDbowler's Journal, 16 November 2015

This weekend brought a lot of fun. Friday night I had taken my dog to the vet. He has a hot spot on his tail, and there are two masses on his tail too. They gave us two choices, remove the masses or remove the tail. He is 8 years old, I think we are going to try to just remove the masses. He would be depressed if we cut off his tail. Then it was my daughter's last football game for marching band. She was a little chilly, but she did a good job. I am very proud of her. Saturday I actually fixed the drain piping in my kitchen. It took about 2 hours and help from my dad and father-in-law. It went rather smoothly. Then I went shopping with my daughter and spent some time with a couple of great/close friends. Sunday was a day of work. There really is no rest for me. And I saw a tremendous loss this weekend. I am very pleased with this. Hopefully this trend will continue. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Keep up the excellent work everyone.

Good call on saving pooch's tail! Nice drop, keep up the good work. I've had to do several plumbing jobs around the house myself, just calling and getting an estimate from a plumber will horrify a person into resolving to do it yourself, what would have been $300 jobs ended up being less than $5 in pvc fittings, getting really dirty, and just mildly strenuous labor.
