JDbowler's Journal, 17 September 2015

And again with the up and down. I normally don't worry about the scale. I work out, my clothes fit better, but yes, I want to be down in pounds. That is my ultimate goal. Being in a size 42 again is wonderful. It feels great. Wearing an XL shirt as opposed to an XXL or even an XXLT (longer for taller guys) made me cry a little. But no matter how much my clothes fit better, my goal is to be down another 45 pounds. And I have maintained this weight now for a while, and I just want to see it go away. Maybe the mild depression that I have from my family crisis is compounding on my frustrations, but still I want so bad to see it go down. I will get there. I am determined.

The non-scale victories make the journey worthwhile. The scale will move in time if you stick to your plan. It may not be easy but it will be worth it.
