But you know... its a different time. Attitudes, ideas, thoughts are different now than they were even just 10 years ago... combine that with whatever location in the world that you are in and that changes things too... I mean really - in the Mid-West of the United states 20 yrs ago it was expected that you would be a chubby mummy... that was the norm. Moms werent supposed to be skinny. Nanna's are supposed to be plump too, right - their hugs feel better! Time has a way of changing things... advertising has a way of changing things... remember in the 80's - you only had to wear shoulder pads and tease your hair taller in order to look thinner! Shoot, and the 70s was all about processed foods - you couldn't help but get fat! The skinny people were the ones using cocaine... The 90's were all about what you could cook in the microwave - after the 80's made them common in every household - both parents are working - if anyone is gonna eat, its gonna be nuked! Finally, we are entering into a time period where its not just about being too fat or too thin... its about your overall health. Kind of like going back in time... eat organic- no pesticides! Don't eat processed foods- No Doritos! Eliminate soda form your diet- no toxins! Dont fry your food - grill or roast it.... its like the 2010's are going back to the 1800's - before our life became modern and obesity became the norm! No wonder they all died young, they werent packed full of preservatives, lol! Seriously though, now a days, there are so many factors to obesity - illness, medication, food availability, toxins, chemicals, stress, DNA, you almost dont have to overeat any more to be fat... we need to keep that in mind as we change our lifestyle... diets are for the moment, lifestyle changes are forever... whether you worked on being healthier 10 yrs ago, 20 yrs ago or now - really doesn't matter - as long as your doing it now. You have the rest of your life to look forward to... the past is over! Its a new day! You can do this! Look forward to your tomorrow!

WOW you really are good at writing you are a really good mentor ...yes i have to admit to nuking everything in the microwave and i think perhaps moving away from this at times might be a good idea and going back to older fashioned ways which in turn will lead to better meals being cooked ..i am trying to return to cooking an actual meal instead of heating up meals and just sticking something on a butty ...here goes

Thank you - you are also a good mentor! And I have faith that you CAN and WILL become healthier... losing weight along the way... because you want to and because you are choosing to! Yea, sure - we'll have our struggles along the way... but we'll get there! One bite at a time! Believe in you - I do!
