Another weekly average update
Last week 131
This week 129.5
.
I am pretty happy about that. This week I had to delete some weight entries as my scale went bonkers and I finally changed batteries. But I think this is pretty accurate now.
..
Working pretty well on the lifting. And I am getting stronger. When I started some weeks ago I could hardly chest press my barbell without collapsing now I can get quite a few reps. It is fairly quick to build up strength folks so get at it LOL.
128.6 lb Lost so far: 57.2 lb.    Still to go: 7.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

nice 👍 that's the best part about when you first start lifting you gain strength fast unfortunately it doesn't last forever that way but it's all part of it

Do you have a gym at home? Both my doctor and the orthopedist have suggested doing some strength training or going to a gym. I may join a gym when I move, but.not now

Awesome!! Glad to hear about your progress, keep at it! When you eventually see the progress slowing down or stopping don’t give up 🙂 it’s not an upper limit, you just need to learn how to break through that next level and I’m sure lots of folks here would be able to help

Thanks all. @Fritzy I do not have a home gym but my husband probably thinks I have converted our living room into one. I have weights and stuff and a bench. Love all those. But I do not think you need a lot of equipment to strength train, Some basic things like pushups or planks and v sits uses nothing but body weight and gravity. Hope you will start. It strengthens your muscle which helps your bones and joints

I think Ancient Hippy that thinking about it is great. You are going to need to find your motivation. Mine is that I do not want to end up in an old folks home any time soon

I have weights, stretch bands, probably all I need to get started, even in this polar chill.

Diana thank you. A pic you once posted of you and your mom in the gym always inspires me

Ancient Hippie That is what you need. You tube and other places have a lot of suggestions of exercises to do and hoe to do them . But it is not rocket science

I had an “ ah ha” moment after I read this post about changing batteries in scale. Maybe that’s what is happening to me and why my weight isn’t changing. Then I remembered that my clothes are tight as well so don’t think it’s that after all…

My scale decided that I was losing over one pound a day. Yup not happening LOL
