UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH So frustrating. I eat less than 1000 calories a day which was only 18 points. Barely ate any carbs and STILL weigh in at 127. Why wont that scale go down? Even a tiny bit would make me feel better. I HATE DIETING! Especially when I don't see the rewards. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I've been doing WW for a while now and they stress how important it is to NOT go under your points value. When you eat too few calories your body goes into starvation mode and starts storing fat. The weeks that I haven't met my points value are some of my worst weeks. So it's just a suggestion but maybe try 1200 calories a day for a couple weeks and see if that helps. Good luck!! You're almost there!

You also have very little to lose and that can make it really difficult when you are already in a healthy weight for your height. You might try using some flex and zig zagging the points (high and low days) but don't' go under your daily points. Exercise also plays a big role when you are very close to goal.

I wanted to add that I just talked to my WW leader last week about points value... she said that especially when you're eating 18pts. you need to be eating the 35 weekly pts. The reason why is because the pts. have stayed the same but food in general has gone up in pts. If you don't eat your weeklys, you aren't getting enough. Hang in there and remember more is better and WW is all about making better choices and exercising as a life style, not a diet. You can do this!!

Thank you Suzi and Sheila! So I need to eat my 35 flex points a week? I think thats what they're called. I havent been to a WW meeting in 7 years. Oh thats scary to think about eating 35 more points. Can I divide it up into the 7 days? That would put me at 25 points a day. That seems like an awful lot. BUT...that means I can have my ww smartones key lime pie tonight! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. :)

Yeah the plan has changed quite a bit over the last 7 years that's for sure. Food of course continues to go up in calories though so just keep that in mind. Splitting up your points over 7 days works or you can use a few one day none the next and then a lot the day after that... whatever you want. I use the most the day I WI so then there's 6 days to make sure it comes back down. =) You should check out the Wendie Plan in the WW area... it's a great way to zig zag your extra points, keep your body guessing and watch the pounds melt away. =)
