I finally got up the nerve to take my outer shirt off at the gym today! Since I started going to the gym in February, I have always worn a loose-fitting T-shirt over my workout clothes. I bought some new workout clothes about a month ago but I just couldn't workout without a shirt over that tight fitting lycra thing. The nice thing is that with the addition of the lycra top, the girls are now triple supported so any unpleasant undulations are suppressed. The junk in the truck is sort of free range but I refuse to wear anything tight fitting down under, if ya get my drift. It is August and it's hot. Yep.

Anyway, I had a brief session with Mr. E this morning followed by treadmill... I apologized for making him wet himself last month but dominance had to be established in order for me to achieve my goals. He is silent on this matter but he acquiesced just the same. Okay then, that's more like it. And yet I stray again from my original point.

When I arrived at the gym I threw my bag in the locker and headed for the tinkle station, carefully eyeing Mr. Scales on my way. He was actually BECKONING to me, I swear I heard it! And no, I haven't gone off my crazy people meds, I know you were thinking it! So I gave in and stepped on, and I was glad I did, he played nice today. I am really close to that next milestone, the 30's, one I hoped I would reach by the end of July but it didn't happen. No worries.

I was so elated that it gave me a little confidence boost and I decided the outer shirt had to come off today... after all, it IS hot as I said before. I know there are lumps where they shouldn't be and sags that probably will never go away, but you gotta take what you got and run with it, quite literally in my case...LOL.

I was cooler and more comfy and the girls were happy so I didn't change clothes until I got home. I wanted to take a new pic for my fb and fs profile so it was a good time to "just do it".

Good for you AuntieJan... You look great.... I wear a long "loose" t shirt over my Lycra bottoms and 2 bras to keep it all "together". I ay ave a look at some Lycra tops soon :-)

Auntie - That is a real milestone! And your self confidence must have gone up 10 notches too! Also - Congrats on the weight loss.You are just doing well all around.

Thank you Skinny! The lycra really is good because it allows your skin to "breathe", I know some probably think I should not wear it but to heck with them I say!

I'm very proud of you Auntie! You're looking wonderful these days and you can wear whatever keeps you and the girls happy! Congratulations on your weight loss and your attitude! Perhaps it's just me, but you look a bit intimidating to me. I promise not to mess with you! {{{HUGS}}}

Hi Pam! Thank you so much for stopping by. That pose is for Mr. E and all the other nay-sayers that say a fat chick can't run a 5k. LOL!!! It's my "I mean bidness" face. Thank you for your support and encouragement. Big hugs back!
