I did 5 miles yesterday and am eating well, and the scale shows it. It's funny how the scale catches up later. My pants have been feeling loose but it must take a bit for the actual wt. to leave. I feel like I have a waist again. A ways to go still but I feel on path. I'm going to stay off sugar and keep walking. Love to my buddies.
175.2 lb Lost so far: 1.8 lb.    Still to go: 20.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.8 lb a week

Woot woot, the pants and waist are more important. Got my Vitamix today. Thanks for the advice --what a powerful machine. And it takes seconds!! Had collard greens in my lunch smoothie. A made the kids one before supper w banana, orange, frozen berries, vanilla yogurt and koolaid. It has sugar, obviously, but they loved it. It was 2 seconds. 😃

you are so right. ive been losing like 1 pound a month but my black trousers hAVE got looser then baggier then all of a sudden in month 6, 4 pound just fell off. like you say catches up. Glad its not just me then cos I was wondering what had happened.x

Thanks everyone. I did another two miles today. 61st of my 100 miles week 7 of 12. And my next half marathon is on April 18, so I'm going to be increasing mileage. I'll be done with that 100 sooner than 12 weeks for sure. Thanks for all of your support! It means the world.

I agree that your waist will get smaller before the scale goes down.. I have only lost 16 lbs, but I have went down 2 sizes in my jeans. Also some new shirts that I bought before Christmas are now to big for me. Good thing I know how to sew.

So actually my 6 mile walk today has me up to 67 miles!!! Woohoo.

Oh and silly me, two miles yesterday too, so 69 miles! end of week 7, that's almost 10 miles a week. Wow. Impressive even to me. Now I need to boost it up tho. I have another half marathon on April 18 and I don't have the luxury of it being mostly walkers, it will be mostly runners and so I have to cut my time down significantly. Yikes. I am not a runner but will have to do some running to finish before they pack up and leave me. Please everyone send me good speed vibrations! I have been boosting my speed when I walk, but will need to practice some running soon.

Ditto that. A while ago, after walking a lot (although certainly a lot less than you) I had an urge to run. I didn't feel comfortable with lots of running, so I ran betwwen the light poles. Run one distance, then walk. After, I heard this is a good training technique. Best wishes, kim.☺
