Lifting pisses me off when it comes to the scale. So today my little gain means nothing :D
146.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 18.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.5 lb a week

Yes, exercise, especially lifting can cause muscles to retain water. It will go away.
