Been increasing activity this week. I went for a nice long bike ride yesterday and then a short run in the evening. Quads were a little sore in the run but it was doable. 6 ish weeks until my tri!

The middle of the ball of my foot hurts when I step on it though. Not sure if I'm not pedaling right or what have you. I have a running engagement tonight so hopefully it feels better by then. 😏
139.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 19.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

have you tried changing your cleat position around a bit? I played with my positioning a bunch before I found the sweet spot

I don't have cleats yet (hesitant about investing in them if it turns out I hate doing triathlons). Where are yours positioned? I'll have to pay closer attention to where I'm putting my foot though. I was trying to stay over the ball of my foot, but I also think my seat was a little too high so who knows. 😫 It's feeling kind of better today, so hopefully I can run tomorrow.

It's all personal preference all thw eay forward will activate different muscles then all the way back. I prefer all the way back and pushed outwards for a wider stance. Also I have them slightly twisted to allow for easier unclipping if things get dicey but I only ride in the woods and I live in the land of rock gardens so it's very technical terrain.
