Starting the Daniel Fast tomorow. More for having the time to knock down these "walls" with prayer than for the health of it. Although after weighing in I could use it for the health of it. I have consumed a lot of junk food over the last few weeks and in WAY large portions. I'm not looking to get back on "track" but more to respect my body, after all junk food is junk and I've been feeling like a trash can consuming things I KNOW are not good for me. I am also fasting facebook...my super favorite web site. Going to use the journal section for my personal use to record how I am doing with the fast(s). Excited and ready for this challenge.
169.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I have been hitting the junk food as well... and I can always tell such a difference in how I feel. Even if I am eating it in small enough amounts to not gain or to even keep losing... it just makes me feel icky and drug down. I think I may be on my road to being one of those annoying health food nut people.

I'm now on day two, everything I crave is something I can't have!!! I crave chocolate milk, chips cheese and salsa (which I can have but has to be 100% corn chips and fresh salsa) minus the cheese. Freakiest thing is I'm due to get A lot of blemishes this week and next, had one pop up this morning and went down by evening, guess all that water is giving me a detox, I PEE ALL THE TIME!! Glad to be back on water...was starting to hit the pop machine at work for a soda here and there to give me some caffine to help with the junk food sluggishness. I know two wrongs dont make a right...right??? Well got a three hour nap in tonight cause I'm sluggish on day two, couple more days and it will balance out.

I generally have a soda mid afternoon. I ALWAYS get tired then. The kids are napping and the house is quiet and I have worked out and eaten... I try to keep it at one a day unless its something special. I do notice though that whenever I drink soda I want WATER. And lots of it afterwards. I end up so thirsty and those days where i start getting lazy and start drinking ALOT of soda... ugh I end up dying of thirst. I have no desire to give it up completely... I love the taste of a nice cold sweet (diet) mt dew from time to time. Guess I shouldnt talk about that here... make you want it more. cravings suck. When i crave something I can not have... I seem to just eat and eat and eat and eat.....
