Pains me to record this one, but I believe in honesty. Putting black electrical tape across the check engine light doesn't fix the engine. This is the first time in the months since I hit my goal weight of 130 that my weekly average (which this number is) has clocked in above it.

What happened? Work stress and travel. On the travel, Riverton, Wyoming, ain't exactly a health food mecca, but in hindsight I could have made better choices even so. Work...I don't know who told my boss I wanted the biggest project of my career in my last year before retirement 😂 Regardless, I need to find a better coping mechanism than food

At least the one day reading this morning was lower (129). It'll just take some focus to get it back down. Each time I bobble, I learn. Onward! 😃

Thanks, suzelite 😊 Yeah, this went outside my parameters. Maintenance has offered different challenges -- without the positive reinforcement of seeing the scale go down. How much latitude do I give myself. What's living my life vs straying too far? I've long considered maintenance more important than loss. What motivates me is that I lost this last 20 pounds to cross country ski better, it DID make skiing easier, so I don't want to go back up

Honesty is the best policy if you're using FS for accountability and support. I had to do this last summer when my exercise slacked for 2 months. It sounds like you've already made steps to right it, though, what with pulling back on cheese & meat and prioritizing veggies (just in time for spring & summer's bounty 😊). I have no doubt you'll have it all under control by month's end. Congrats on the new project at work (consider it Alzheimer's prevention).😉

Thank you, JB 😊 This whole process over the last year+ has taught me enough about food and nutrition and my own body that I feel like I know what to do. Now to do it. I'm grateful for all the support and encouragement I get here on FS ❤️

Maintenance is a slippery slope for sure! I've been there too. Life gets in the way sometimes and we just need to regroup. You have the right attitude and I think you'll be ok. 👍💜

I hear you about Riverton. We visit friends there twice a year and never have found a good pizza shop or restaurant that was worth the calories. I have been able to eat low carb at McDonald’s and BK for short durations while on travel. And BTW thanks for the reminder, I’m gonna pull the tape off and see if the MIL is still illuminated or if the bulb burned out LOL

I flucuate a little every few days, but those bobbles can tell you to be careful you don't overdo it. You know what to do & I'm sure you'll follow through.

We are on a journey and fluctuations will happen. Good that you have a positive attitude and evaluated if changes need to be made. Continue to be good to yourself.❤️
