My cals are so low. I KNOW this is bad. I *HATE* those freakin mirrors they have in stores. You know the ones they have on ALL the freakin pillars in Kohls. Ummmmmm no, I do NOT want to see just how FAT I look in your mirrors thank you very much. Down a bit more for my weight. I don't feel good about it though. I know I'm not eating enough and i don't want to rebound when I get my cals back up. YUCK.

Dawn, congrats on the weight loss. How you feel is what's really important. I'm not sure that, however thin we get, we're really ever satisfied with what we see in the mirror. What Brandy and Jada said!

Also getting caps up is a job. Try oils, nuts, nut butters, real or vegan cheese (if you can't do dairy).

Dawn, I know exactly how you feel about mirrors. I think I've mastered the art of looking at the clothes without seeing myself. *grin* But with the great weight loss you've had it must be a enjoyable grabbing those smaller sizes. You're doing great...now smile down those mirrors and find something that shows off your beauty. :-)

Thank you all so much! I've really been trying to 'embrace' the mirror lately. BUT somedays, like yesterday and today, its been hard. It's like I KNOW I've lost 50 lbs but the person staring back at me is still 375ish. Its all a mental thing and I know sooner or later I will be the hottie I once was (hehehe jking) . Thank u all for the wonderful words. You guys really save me sometimes.

I totally get the mirror thing. You don't just automatically start loving your body after losing X pounds...but at a certain point you will start to not hate it as much & that's a start! I always zero in on the parts of my body I still dislike whenever I look in my full-length mirror & that may never change. But I there are also parts of my body I like now because of the strength training I've done, & I can appreciate them & still want to improve other areas. Keeping calories/macros consistent is definitely challenging, especially when stuff is going on around you. All we can do is keep trying & if we can look back & learn something from days we missed the targets, it will help us going forward. Hang in there girlie.

What you're doing is working, don't lose sight of that fact. It may feel like you are cutting down a redwood with a hachet, but it WILL fall... it just takes time and perserverence. DOn't forget to attack it from all angles. ;)

Good Morning Dawn! Store mirrors are evil for most people...there was a whole seinfield episode about them hehe just keep working at it and use it as motivation. Just recently when I went to the tanning salon I took a good look in the mirror (the mirrors at the tanning salon are NOT merciless) and really took in the changes. First time in 2years that I nodded my head and said "not bad" You will get there too! Have a great week love and keep your chin up!
