Im happy with this weigh in. Especially following a 3 day camping trip involving moms great cooking and relentless offers of GREAT food.
I was not able to log food consumed, but I have gotten a great education on portions via doing it on this sight for these past months.
I consider it a re-education that I will use for life.
I learned that I CAN eat that good (AKA FUN)stuff in moderation, that I need not deprive myself of things I love. I balanced it with a lot of fruit and veggies,(the REAL good stuff!!) and that good ol' hiking and swimming exercise that you can only get up in the sticks! (even got those pushups in!) I feel good that I am not only maintaining, but still losing. I had set an internal goal of 175 lbs by July 15th, and here I sit at 168!
Thanks buddies

Mike - Congratulations on your successful trip. Bet you are hearing from muscles you didn't know you owned. Moderation and portion size is something I never dreamed would be in my vocabulary - but here I am carefully weighing out one oz of almonds, 6 oz berries, etc. Glad I'm not alone.

Nope, your not alone and you wont have to do that forever. Youl soon ba able to have a pretty good odea of portion sizes, weights by eyeball. You are doing good by using the food scale now!
