I liked the advice I received from other dieters. I try to keep some basic low calorie meals for breakfast and lunch. I then eat half as much as what I think I want at dinner and then I stop eating by six or seven in the evening. I also try to remember to drink a full 16 oz. glass of water at least five times a day. I do NOT eat many little meals throughout the day. I end up not counting my calories that way. I am too busy. I eat a decent breakfast and lunch so that I am not starving in-between meals. Of course, I felt like I was starving for about two weeks but I now find I feel satisfied staying within my calorie limit - when I do what has been suggested - eat quality foods. Thank you to everyone who has helped. I am actually loosing weight! I do follow a specific strength/cardio every day but Sunday. I make up for my cardio workout occasionally when I have a lot of yard work, etc. and then I just make sure to get in my strength exercises.
