I've switched back to the South Beach diet because its the closest to the writer's diet. It is a low carb, very low sugar approach and right now that's what I need. Plus I have all the books. I'm kind of combining it with Gittleman's Fat Flush, so that's what I'm doing. Still attentive to Amy's 10 grams of sugar but not really paying that much attention.
The most important switch I'm making is to do my morning papers. 3 pages of self expression first thing in the morning has really been life giving. Amazing. Impossible to explain.

Wow, 3 pages. You're hardcore on it. Not sure what I'd say for 3 pages- guessing I'd have to write really big. Although I yammer on quite well on my tablet, so who knows. Was surprised to see southbeach, but makes sence if its close to writers. You're still doing half marathon tho? 🏃

Half marathon is ON! My foot is doing well if not completely healed it will be fine. Just got back from my 2 miles. I'm 5 weeks out now so I need to begin training in earnest. I've been doing at least a mile a day but that's not enough now. I need to begin pushing it. Big ten mile loops once a week. That kind of thing... Are you sure you don't want to join me? Try the three pages for a week and see what comes up. just try it. You can write mumbo jumbo. Its not supposed to be real writing. Its supposed to be like cleaning the pipes, like an idea enema. Hee!

Michele and I are meeting on Friday morning about the book club. She is going to help me plan it out. I pretty much have it planned in my head already, but I am asking her to help me with it because it is more fun to do it with someone. I had asked Naomi too, but she got busy and bowed out. So far, what it will be is a Facebook group. Entries in the group can only be seen by group members. I will blog about it on my blog too and post those entries up on the FB page. I will probably offer a way for bloggers to blog about it (maybe a Mr. Linky on my blog for those who want to do it through their blog) and the FB page will have the same exercises for those who do not have blogs or who don't want to write about it on their blogs. It will start in January - sometime AFTER my Tao Tuesdays is completed on January 6th. I am thinking that I will run it for 8 weeks to cover the 8 phases in the book. I am also thinking that I am going to have Saturdays be the posting day since I can plan it out and write on Fridays and have it ready to publish on Saturday. Tomorrow I will know for sure the details. I will probably send out the details to the people who showed some interest after I meet with Michele on Friday. I will have to call Mom about it since she is Internet-less. (Still?) I'm excited, though! I think that 2015 is going to be my year of THE HOUSE. Eric and I have been really getting into Flea Market Flip, an HGTV show. He is super excited about it too, which makes it really fun. I couldn't believe it when he got all excited about it. So we did a little shopping and picked up some stuff to fix up and sell. I told him that I would not be able to do much with this until after I am done with June's present, though! Next summer will be fun.

Oh super. remind the Fat Secret members what the book is about that we will study. And before any of you out there might think its not about weight loss to get your house in order, it is. They say that research has shown a direct correlation between messy disorganized houses as belonging to people who are kind of feeling out of control in their lives. So anyone wanting to join my sisters and me in this book club. Its something about making your home feel more sacred. Like our body temple, perhaps?

Soul Space is a book about helping you to match your home with your personality. It was written by an interior designer who does that for a living and, through this book, we will be working on creating our homes to be just the way we like them!
