Well I have to say I'm a bit surprised that I lost 4 lbs, but happy non the less. I failed once again on my diet but got back on the wagon yesterday. I'm just very stressed out and dissatisfied right now...I'm not exactly sure what I want out of life. I definitely need some weight loss support...I'm generally such a happy person, but, now, I just can't seem to get things done...and I'm unable to balance certain things. I've been a bit down lately, so, that weigh- in definitely brought my mood up...have a great evening.
194.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 4.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Don't think of it as 'failing again' -- Its pretty discouraging to yourself. Think of it as another opportunity to succeed. :)

Have you ever noticed though when you fall off the wagon it's usually not as hard to take back off what you just put back on? That sometimes motivates me to get going again. I have suffered from depression (brought on a lot from drinking and my weight-funny how that all kind of ties in together) and I notice when I can get myself motivated to stay on Atkins, it helps me start clearing my mood back into the realm of the norm. You're young and from you're picture a very beautiful person already on the outside. The other thing I notice that has helped me a lot with my mood (the inside)is getting in the exercise. If you don't have some type of cardio that you're doing, try it! Even if it's getting out and walking a mile or two every other day. You will feel better in getting into that routine. I walk about 3 miles every day with my IPod. That's my time to get away from my son and any other problem, clear my head and have "me" time. Give it a try and see if it might help you out..hang in there!

Hey Reina, never look a gift horse! Its not the falling off its the getting back on that counts. Happy 4 pounds less.

One thing that helps me a lot is to find things to distract me so I don't think about food all the time. I was at my best weight-wise several years ago when I kept so busy that eating was just something I had to do 3 or 4 times a day to stay alive! I ate fine, but I just didn't think all the time about what I could and couldn't have. That way when I did go out to eat with friends or family I could get what I wanted and enjoy it because I didn't eat that way all the time. Staying busy and active kept my mood up too. Maybe this could help you too.
