Jenfar's Journal, 11 September 2014

Hello! Back from China yesterday, massive water retention due to 24 hours flying and transit time at airport - water percentage up to 52% when my usual is 48%, metabloic age 25 :)! Just taking today's measurements for what they are and will assess properly in a week's time. I am very please though about my weight, even though i went up from 13 days ago. I completed my full program of 12 weeks on 31st August and finished with a weigh in of 56.2 kg. I would like to resume my workouts but i think I will just do a zumba class at home as I have a massive headache. This headache has made me look into an e book i downloaded a while back called Diet Wise by Prof Keith Scott Mumby. It's about an elimination diet and i would like to read it starting today because I remember a time where headaches were non existent to me after I changed my diet... I went completely on low fat that time then i read that it was no good ( after practicing it for 10 years and moved to experimenting with other diets and gained weight as a result!). So I'm going to brush my knowledge on food choices with this book and will let you know my results. I definitely want to get down to my target weight until my next holiday in January and for my 52nd birthday, so gotta get cracking!
127.2 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 1.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks Draglist! I agree with you Buffy101, there is alot out there and I'm a sucker for it in my quest for knowledge! It's a matter of trying to find balance and your blueprint, what agrees with you and what does not. Journaling what you eat will definitely come in handy and even when you are on the right track and find your path, the journal will help remind you what it felt like to eat a certain food. I will keep you all posted cos I am on a new mission!
