I had scales that did that. Drove me CRAZY!! I went to Costco and bought a Weight Watchers Digital scale. They have been rock solid for me. Sanity restored. :)

Scales are all calibrated different and you can weigh something different on each one. Flooring also effects the scale. Put the scale (in one place) on a hard even surface. Rugs are not good. choose one scale as your "official" weigh-in scale and keep using that one to most accurately gauge your weight loss. If you want to test its accuracy, put an object on it that you know the weight of (like a couple hand weights). You will see how close your scale gets to the actual number. Weigh in the same time of day, same clothes, same scale, same everything for the most accurate gauge of weight loss. Your weight will change all day long because of many factors: exercise, sodium in food, kinds of foods you eat, dehydration, water consumption, medication, hormones, etc. It goes on and on. As long as your chart as a mostly downward spiral, you are doing well. Your chart looks like a rollercoaster, lol, but its' headed downward. So great job!

yeah I always go through phases of eating healthy then eating a lot less than I should and then I have a sleepover or something that triggers me to eat a lot XD should even out when school starts up again though :) I don't have any hand weights I could use but I'll try and find something, I put the scales on the tiles of the bathroom floor now and they've been okay now, thanks for the tip :) I think I'll weigh myself when I get up every morning now :) @shines27 I'd love to have weight watcher scales but I live in a small town in germany and we don't have any big stores that sell them :(
