Had a pal over for the wkend. Guess the wine and pizza I had has stopped any weight loss! Anyway I will stick to the routine of no sweets and minimum carbs and carry on! Its been 8 weeks of this diet. Have lost 7 lbs. 3 more to go ...My swim class starts today so maybe that will help me to lose it.
151.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Wow, you are doing great. Staying the same after indulging is actually a good thing. When you get to goal, you want to be able to indulge occasionally and maintain.

Thks for this Suzi. I agree that we have to chose a regime that works for us individually. I love my wine at dinner time so I try to stick to white wine that has no carbs. I find the low carb diet is easiest for me to follow..especially in the summer months. Thin is good but healthy is even better!

I just made a new salad and its super great so heres the recipe: thinkly sliced Fennel bulb 1 cup of chick peas without juice grated parmesan cheese some chopped flat leaf parsley fresh garlic, salt and pepper Dressing: 2 Tbsps olive oil 1 Tbsp seasoned vinegar or apple cider vinegar Mix and leave in refrigerator til serving. This recipe provides the protein from the chick peas and the taste is awesome!
