ChristyLA's Journal, 31 May 2014

I'm the same weight as I was the week before, so this is likely a weight fluctuation, or muscle gain, because I worked out every weekday last week, which I'm really proud of :) I walked four days and did a weightlifting workout one day. I was really sore from weightlifting, but that's good, because it means I'm building muscle. I hope to continue to do weightlifting every week, because I want to continue to build muscle and (hopefully) decrease fat. I'm hoping my weight stays the same, but it could go up, because when I was 15 lbs heavier than I am now, I was the same size, so I believe I lost muscle when I lost that weight (I was really sedentary), so if I add muscle back now, I could end up gaining those 15 lbs back. I hope not, but I'm prepared for a gain nonetheless.

I'm happy today for some reason. I'm happy to have reached my goal weight and to be maintaining while eating approximately what my body burns. That makes me happy, because it means that my metabolism is normal. I can't lose any more weight, no matter how low I decrease my calories, but it's nice that I can eat a substantial amount of calories and not gain. The body is a funny thing, lol. Have a great weekend, all.

Always leaves weight. I do exercises at home every night, but by a few. Legs lose weight last. I do not know English))). I write with a translator. I eat foods that are tasty without adding salt, stopped eating meat (sausage, beef and pork). At work, lose weight easily. Today, a day off, I think about eating periods. Yesterday my weight 65.2 kg

I am happy you are at goal and weightlifting. I just read a good article debating which burned more fat; cardio or weight lifting. The result was weightlifting because when done correctly, with many reps and increasingly heavy weights, you will get your cardio while building muscles! I know it is probably true because we often do weightwork while on incline steps, or doing pushups with weights and my heart rate goes up!

OH - and of course being composed of muscle will help our bodies burn fat and increase the metabolic function! Cool, right?

When I enter in my exercise, weightlifting burns more calories than power-walking, so I believe it too. Weightlifting is more intense on the body, and I get out of breath from it too! I agree, weightlifting affects both strength and cardio, and that's why it's more effective for fat loss. I figure, if I'm going to be the same size now as I am at 15 lbs more, I might as well have more muscle on my body. But there's also a chance I could stay the same weight and get smaller. That would be awesome :)
