Stopped drinking diet soda 3 weeks ago, started drinking 120+ ounces of water per day and Nothing changed! Finally, I saw weight loss today for the first time! Also, started waking up early and walking for 15 minutes 3 days ago, guess the exercise was the missing key. Feeling GREAT today.

I never believed the stories about getting fat from diet soda... Thank you for proving it to me :)

I lost about 70 pounds when I gave up regular soda. Water tastes weird at first, once you get used to it, it provides a good cheap drink.

I think I mentioned once before on here that I had been off diet pop for some time. I went to visit my mother who was diabetic. I'd read that diet pop would make your insulin levels rise just like sugar does... that it's the sweetness that pushes it not the sugar itself. I checked my blood sugar with mom's tester... it was 5 (Canadian, eh). I drank 2 liters of diet peps and checked my blood sugar a half hour later. 5. Sealed the deal for me. I still don't drink it though. Too much advanced chemistry. I don't drop trash in my yard either. ;)
