It is easy to give up. But you will not be happy if you do that either. We all try different things until we find the right plan for us. What's the 1st thing we do once we stop dieting? EAT like the good old days. You need a plan YOU can do loooooong term. That fits your lifestyle everyday. NOT a diet. Yes you still have to pay attention to what you are eating and portions. BUT that is how we change in a nut shell. Eat the foods you want, just cut those portions back to a real serving for ONE and balance your choices so you eat healthy most of the time and junk rarely. Because after all, as soon as you say I will never eat this again? We Do! Think slow verses fast in numbers on the scale. You can lose one to two pounds a week and still eat the foods you love. If you eat less than you do now to maintain, and move more than you did before. Just 500 calories less a day is a pound less a week. Try to stay between 1200 to 1500 a day. If you already are, then ya need to up the exercise to keep things moving. Do NOT Quit. You ARE worth the Effort. Keep Going! : )

Agree with Nibbles. Your true goal should be to strive for better overall health, not just losing weight. So that means you implement a lifestyle that helps you achieve that goal everyday. Weight loss is just a by-product of doing the things that promote better health. If weight loss was the main ingredient, then can we say people on drugs, people with eating disorders, chronic illness, etc (they also lose weight)are healthy? Nope. So try not to focus on just the weight loss part, wanting to eat this food instead of that food, and not feeling that you're making progress. Try focusing on "What can I do today that will help me get healthier?" Even if you eat ONE healthy meal a day, that will put you on the road to better health than eating bad foods. Also, learn more about nutrition and about what nutrients our bodies really needs. There is a lot of hype about calories, fat, carb, protein, that is simply not true. Our bodies need every nutrient to perform properly, so try not to get locked into just one or two. Last, feel good that you're doing something positive for your health. When I start feeling depressed about my health, I think about the people who would love to be able to walk, run, & be active...but can't. Plus, you want to be healthy so you can be there for family & those that are close to you. So don't give up buddy. You can do this! I wish you well.

loosing weight is really hard especially when every one around you is eating what ever they feel like, but stick to your diet, there's a place called diet direct, that you can get some really good protein bars, and some meal replacements, there brownie bars are wonderful just like eating the real thing only i think these are really better, there strawberry smoothie's are wonderful, and only 100 calories, so look at there web site this may help you.the products i purchase are called wonderslim. Just remember you are doing this for you! This is a life style change and i do struggle some days too. I sometime eat frozen dinners but only twice a week, find some healthy choice lean cusine or south beach diet ones that are under 310 calories and under 600grams of sodium. This gives me at least a break from the boring food all the time, but i only eat them twice a week, the lean cusine spaghetti is great yum yum. i really miss pasta and this once in awhile gives me my fix. Just keep going excerices and make sure to eat alot of small meals throughout the day and drink at least 80 ozs. of water. were all in this together.
