Goodness gracious!I lost 3.5 lbs this week, I'm so proud of myself. I knew I had to up my cardio to balance out my strength training to melt off this fat faster, but I hate cardio. I did some research on step aerobics (if I have to do cardio, step is the best for me) and I decided to get Kim Kardashian's "Fit into your jeans by friday" and I really really love it, Kim could use some cueing lessons, but it only took me the second time around to get it down. For those skepital about Kim as an instructor, let me just tell you that the actual instructor is Patrick Goudeau from FitTV, Kim's just the front chick, so don't let that discourage you from trying this out.I also started doing 30 day shred at the suggestion of another member and that is short but effective!
I was totally stunned at my scale this morning. I usually weight myself three times in a row and take the 2 out of 3 number, but I weighed myself 5 times because I really could believe it. YEAH, GO ME!!!!!
212.5 lb Lost so far: 30.5 lb.    Still to go: 27.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

LOL, five times? The shred is a brutal 20 minutes, but Jillian talks too much and doesn't do the exercises..

she does talk quite a bit, but it's good that she focuses on teaching during the workout, I think it makes you put more focus on form and effort. But it's cool to get out a good workout in only 20 min.

Congrats!!! You are doing great.. I started watching FitTV on demand but I haven't found anyone I like yet.. but I will keep watching.. because it looks like you like it!

You hate cardio but you upped it and did more. Good for you and it really paid off. -3.5 pounds. :-)
